Growing Hope
When people in need approach the Trustee’s Office, I’ll offer support during their crisis and cultivate a sense of hope for what lies ahead.

Ensure residents know where to turn in tough times

The Township Trustee and its public resources have never been more important for our families who face a financial crisis. The Trustee’s office should be the first-place folks come to receive help. Increasing the community’s awareness about the purpose of the Trustee’s office is essential.

Keep More Families housed, fed and safe

The Trustee’s goal should be to say, “YES, we can help” to every client in need. Families should be able to receive short-term assistance for immediate needs and they should receive navigational services in applying for public and community support resources.

Partner with trusted community organizations

It is essential for the Trustee to work with other local service providers to ensure families in crisis can access all of the resource available in the community.

Reform the Trustee System

The Township Trustee system needs to be updated and modernized to better address today’s realities of poverty and financial crisis. The township trustee system also needs to implement better, more cost-efficient methods for delivering services. The Township Trustee resources are limited. Finding cost saving efficiencies will hep to serve more families.

  • HOPE –  As Trustee I’ll offer support during a family’s crisis and cultivate a sense of hope that things will get better.
  • OPPORTUNITY – By helping our neighbors overcome their crisis, as Trustee, I hope to cultivate for them a sense of opportunity to succeed in the future.
  • REFORM – As Trustee I commit to reform the trustee system to strengthen our local emergency financial aid system and contribute to a thriving community.
